Join our team as a Retirement Education & Benefits Advisor serving educators and school district employees in local communities.

In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact by educating teachers, administrators, and school employees about their state pension and helping them better understand the retirement benefits available to them.

You’ll build trusted relationships within school districts, lead educational presentations, identify individual needs, and help clients explore solutions designed to complement their pension and work toward a more secure and dignified retirement.

Position Structure

• 1099 Independent Contractor
• 100% Commission-Based Compensation
• Flexible schedule with the ability to manage your own day-to-day activities and appointments.
• Significant earning potential based on personal production and success.
• Ongoing training, resources, technology, and support provided.
• This position requires a willingness to travel within approximately a one-hour driving radius of your physical location to service and develop relationships with local school districts.
• Regular in-person interaction with school district employees is an essential part of the position.

What You’ll Do

• Educate school district employees through in-person presentations and individual conversations about their state pension, retirement benefits, and financial options.
• Build meaningful relationships with teachers, administrators, and school personnel by becoming a trusted resource they can turn to throughout their careers.
• Identify individual needs and goals and provide appropriate insurance and retirement solutions based on each client’s unique situation.
• Conduct educational presentations that simplify complex pension and retirement concepts and make them easy for employees to understand.
• Provide exceptional client service through consistent follow-up, ongoing communication, and a commitment to connecting with clients on an annual basis.
• Develop and maintain relationships with school districts and key contacts to create long-term outreach and business opportunities.
• Manage leads and client activity using CRM systems and other technology to maintain accurate records and ensure consistent follow-through.
• Utilize Microsoft Office, Zoom, Microsoft Teams, Google Meet, and CRM technology to communicate effectively and manage day-to-day activities.
• Stay current on relevant pension, insurance, and retirement concepts to continually improve the education and value you provide to clients.

• Has reliable transportation and is comfortable spending time in the field.
• Is comfortable learning and utilizing technology, CRM systems, and digital communication platforms.
• Has strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Bilingual or multilingual abilities are highly valued, particularly when serving diverse school communities.
• Holds an active Life & Health Insurance license, or is willing and eligible to obtain one.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
