Location: Carmel, Indiana, and surrounding Central Indiana communities

Pay: $60,000 annually

Position Overview

T1L1 ® is seeking a relationship focused and results oriented Program Expansion Manager to increase the number of students participating in the T1L1 Experience throughout Central Indiana.

The Program Expansion Manager introduces T1L1 to schools, churches, youth serving organizations, businesses, and other institutions that serve students. This position develops new community relationships, presents the program to decision makers, secures signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs), recruits mentors, and coordinates successful program launches.

This role is well suited for someone who enjoys developing new opportunities, connecting with community leaders, giving presentations, and working toward measurable growth goals. The Program Expansion Manager must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment that requires initiative, adaptability, sound judgment, and timely action.

What You’ll Do -

Expand T1L1 in Central Indiana

• Present the T1L1 Experience to schools, churches, youth serving organizations, and other community partners.

• Research new opportunities, build an active prospect list, and secure signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for new program sites.

• Develop relationships with Community Champions and work with the T1L1 marketing team to generate leads in new areas.

Launch and Support Programs

• Recruit mentors and coordinate the schedules, supplies, resources, and details needed for successful program launches.

• Partner with Program Coordinators and participating sites to deliver an effective T1L1 Experience to students.

• Stay informed about program developments and remain actively involved with the T1L1 program team.

Build Community and Investor Relationships

• Identify and develop relationships with churches, businesses, community leaders, mentors, investors, and other potential supporters.

• Arrange meetings during fundraising visits and connect prospective supporters with the appropriate T1L1 fundraising representative.

• Help develop the annual chapter strategy, event timeline, and chapter visit schedule.

• Record contacts, conversations, opportunities, and follow up activity in the organization’s CRM system.

Lead the Local Area

• Manage the Central Indiana area office and assigned staff while upholding the T1L1 culture, core values, and organizational expectations.

• Represent T1L1 through meetings, presentations, training, partner visits, program launches, and community events.

You have experience in sales, business development, community engagement, partnership development, or networking where success was measured by results.

You build strong relationships with school leaders, pastors, business owners, community representatives, investors, volunteers, and other key partners.

You are a confident communicator who can introduce new ideas, lead presentations, engage in direct conversations, and help decision makers move from interest to commitment.

You are comfortable working toward annual and quarterly performance goals and take responsibility for follow up and moving opportunities forward.

You can identify new communities and prospective partners through research, networking, marketing, and community involvement.

You can manage multiple relationships, presentations, program launches, and deadlines while maintaining accurate records in a CRM system.

You work well in a fast paced environment, respond effectively to changing priorities, and consistently follow through.

You believe in the T1L1 vision and mission and are passionate about expanding access to mentoring and character and leadership development for students.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university, or equivalent professional experience

• Demonstrated success in sales, business development, community engagement, partnership development, or networking

• Proven ability to meet or exceed measurable growth or performance goals

• Experience maintaining budgets, tracking expenses, and completing reports

• Proficiency with desktop and mobile technology, Google Workspace, and CRM platforms

• Ability to collaborate with people from different professional and community backgrounds

• Ability to successfully complete the T1L1 Youth Development Professional™ Certification

• Ability to travel throughout Central Indiana for presentations, meetings, program launches, and events

• Current residency in Central Indiana or willingness to relocate before beginning employment

Performance Expectations

The Program Expansion Manager will receive annual targets and quarterly projections. Progress will be reviewed at the close of each calendar quarter.

Annual performance targets include:

• Secure 750 new students each year to participate in the in person T1L1 Experience or Mobile Mentor™

• Secure signed Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs)for the T1L1 Experience to launch in four new areas each year through Community Champions

Residency and Work Location

The selected candidate must currently live in Central Indiana or relocate to the area before beginning employment. This position is based in the Carmel area and serves surrounding communities throughout Central Indiana. Candidates must live within reasonable traveling distance of the schools, churches, organizations, and community partners served by the position.

Regular local travel is required for presentations, partner meetings, program launches, site visits, and community events. This is not a fully remote position.

Salary : $60,000
