As a crew member, your role is dedicated to delighting our guests with precision and speed. You'll expertly assemble plates, ensuring every order is not only accurate with a fantastic presentation, but also served surprisingly fast. Te'Jun Requirements:
- Must meet or exceed the standards set forth by Te'Jun, The Texas Cajun Restaurants.
- Must be eligible to work in the United States.
- Must be honest and dependable.
- Must be able to communicate effectively.
- Must be able to work weekends (our busiest days are Friday and Saturday).
- Must have a reliable source of transportation.
- Must have the ability to remain friendly, move fast, work hard, and make good decisions, even under pressure.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, stoop, and lift 25-60 pounds.
- Must take initiative and be motivated to grow and learn.
- Must be able to work individually and as part of a high-performance team.
- Must have excellent organizational, time management, and multi-tasking skills.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Have a thorough working knowledge of the menu and the products we serve.
- Prepare plates per company standards while ensuring quality and presentation.
- Ensure accuracy of plates and tickets while maintaining a great working speed.
- Ensure great hospitality and customer service.
- Ensure proper food handling practices and food safety practices.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked workspace.
- Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties as assigned.
- Maintain a clean uniform and professional appearance.
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
- Prior plate assembly experience is preferred, but not required.
- Outgoing personality.
- Comfortable welcoming and conversing with customers.
- Basic math for fast and accurate plate assembly.
