What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Operator III - Tape - 1st Shift (Mon - Fri 6am - 2:30pm) position at TE Connectivity?
Sets up and operates machines and tools to perform various manufacturing operations and maintains them to adhere to quality standards.
- This position is considered high skilled precision machine operator position.
Job Requirements
Core Responsibilities include (but not limited to) the following:
- Skilled Machine Operator requiring precision and accuracy.
- When cleaning, heavy scraping, wiping, and use of pneumatic tools with wire wheels is required.
- Document all production activities as required (Autonomous Maintenance, WIP tracking, OEE, etc.)
- Adhere to all safety policies, including PPE requirements and handling regulations for material ingredients.
- Help maintain inventory of raw materials and production supplies.
- Collaborate with Engineering, Maintenance, Quality, TEOA, and others to ensure product consistency and compliance.
What your background should look like
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Ability to understand and follow written batch instructions and SOPs.
- Some experience using mixers, scales, and other compounding equipment a plus
- Strong attention to detail and accurate measurement skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a production environment.
- Forklift or pallet jack experience a plus

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $24.00 - $28.00/Hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)
