What are the responsibilities and job description for the PRODUCTION OPERATOR II position at TE Connectivity?
Operates machines and tools used in manufacturing processes to achieve production targets.
Position Overview:
- Running 1 (Radiation) Beam per shift
- Employee must be productive, accountable, responsible and have good attendance
Responsibilities:
- Adjustments and all aspects of machine loading and changeovers
- Completes necessary operational paperwork
- Follow company and department guidelines, procedures and policies.
- Set machine by following Manufacturing System (MS) guidelines
- Monitor the process while machines are running
- Ensures proper cleanliness of equipment and immediate area in accordance with company housekeeping, safety, and environmental, and lean manufacturing guidelines.
- Ability to lift at least 35 pounds.
Qualifications:
- 1-2 years of related work experience.
- Completion of high school or GED.
- Must meet ITAR compliance requirements for employment
- Good communication skills and team player.
- Basic math skills.
- Basic use of hand tools (crescent wrench, allen wrench, screwdriver)
- Proficient with using measuring devices (micrometer, calipers, scale)

- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $47,840 – $49,920 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
