Joy Plant Controller, this role is responsible for driving strong cost controls, operational efficiencies, and enhanced visibility into plant performance.

This position also collaborates closely with AD&M finance team members, finance shared services, and plant leadership to achieve financial objectives and ensure full compliance with TE financial policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead operational finance reporting, financial analytics, and month-end close activities
- Prepare and present weekly financial outlooks to finance and operations leadership
- Analyze plant spend, cost recovery, and earned hours
- Support the Plant Controller in developing budgets, quarterly forecasts, and weekly outlooks
- Review TEBIT savings projects and Capital Expenditure Requests (CERs); support analysis for manufacturing cost improvement and capacity expansion
- Perform analysis and reporting on inventory, WO variances, standard costs, PPV, scrap/PFO, WIP, CIP, and subcontracts
- Partner with operations and procurement to maintain accurate standard costs for all manufactured and purchased products
- Lead asset management, asset transfer efforts, and inventory accuracy initiatives
- Drive reporting improvements and process streamlining to empower the plant team with data-driven decision-making
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley and TE accounting policies across inventories, fixed assets, capital, and related areas
- Support and mentor Mt. Joy FDP analysts
What your background should look like
Required
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
- 2 years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- Solid understanding of costing fundamentals and financial drivers within a manufacturing setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong financial, analytical, and problem-solving skills with a critical thinking mindset
- Experience with SAP
- Experience with Power BI
- Strong communicator with the ability to present clear, concise analysis and recommendations to senior leadership
- Skilled relationship-builder with the ability to influence and collaborate across multiple stakeholder groups
- Team player with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and a focus on business impact
- Highly motivated; able to perform effectively under pressure, tight deadlines, and ambiguity

Compensation
- Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $90,000 – 112,000 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
- Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
- Total Compensation = Base Salary Incentive(s) Benefits
