What are the responsibilities and job description for the Kitting Team Leader II position at TE Connectivity?
Supervises the production of mechanical assemblies for products of low to high-level complexity/density and monitors the inventory control related to that.
- Analyzing manufacturing processes, recommending production capacity improvements and operation efficiency, and ensuring resource coordination to meet production standards and requirements.
- Evaluating the reported production, reviewing completed factory orders, making changes to the reported production, and providing suggestions on factory orders based on the production demands.
- Optimizing the utilization of machines, minimizing operating costs, and participating in continuous improvement initiatives.
- Working closely with the planning department on scheduling issues, reviewing the weekly/ monthly production schedules, and ensuring that the business goals are achieved.
Typically requires 1-2 years of related work experience. Completion of high school or equivalent is usually required.
