Overview

At TDS Telecom, we believe in connecting communities through cutting-edge fiber internet technology. Our seasonal Door-to-Door Canvasser role is designed for individuals who are energetic, motivated, and looking for a flexible, high-impact opportunity.

 

As a Canvasser, you will generate leads by engaging with potential customers in person, educating them about TDS Telecom services, and identifying interest in our fiber internet, TV, and phone services. You will have the flexibility to set your own schedule, as long as you meet the minimum weekly hours required.

Schedule:

  • Target start date: May 2025 (flexible) – Target end date: August 2025 (flexible).
  • Manage your own 20-hour work week.
  • Must be actively working during peak hours — typically evenings and weekends, when potential customers are most likely to be home.

 

Compensation:

$17 per hour PLUS performance-based bonuses for every appointment set and successfully followed through.

Responsibilities

What You’ll Do:

Customer Engagement & Lead Generation:

  • Canvass assigned territories to identify potential customers interested in TDS services.
  • Engage in face-to-face conversations with homeowners and community members, providing information about TDS's fiber internet, TV, and phone services.
  • Distribute marketing materials and answer questions about TDS offerings.
  • Capture customer interest and collect contact details for follow-up by the sales team.

 

Event Participation & Brand Awareness:

  • Represent TDS Telecom at local community events, college fairs, and networking events to promote services.
  • Work in partnership with TDS's Marketing team to support outreach initiatives.
  • Help create buzz and awareness about TDS services in key areas.

 

Sales Pipeline Contribution:

  • Submit qualified leads using our designated lead-tracking system.
  • Provide daily/weekly reports on lead generation efforts and performance.
  • Collaborate with full-time sales representatives to transition warm leads into sales.

  • Access to reliable transportation to canvassing locations.
  • Ability to work a minimum of 20 hours per week.
