Description:
TDS invests in the newest, state of the art equipment to create our custom fabrications. The machine operator position ensures the equipment is operated and maintained to the highest standards. The operator is runs their machine safely and efficiently, in a clean and organized work space. This position has knowledge of the machine, the products and knowing how to organize projects in the order of priority.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of experience
- Ability to work Monday – Friday 6:30a – 3:30p
- Experience operating manufacturing machinery
- Experience in construction or shop manufacturing
- Ability to routinely lift 50lbs or more
- Experience driving forklift helpful, not required)
Duties:
- Run machine as efficiently as possible
- A full understanding of tooling and different materials at your piece of equipment
- A full understanding of the finished products in order to maintain quality standards
- Keep up on all preventive maintenance & record
- Daily station area cleanup - no scrap/dust - organized work area
- Machine cleanup - No dust / tooling clean / computers cleaned
- Understand priority levels in work load - communicate regularly with management
- Able to make minor repairs to equipment when a tech is not needed
