What are the responsibilities and job description for the Yard Supervisor position at TDR PIPE?
Essential Job Functions
- Makes cycle counts to ensure Inventory is updated
- Administrates workload to the team
- Ensures all trucks have been loaded or unloaded correctly by taking pictures
- Forklift Certification
- Reads work order or follows oral instructions to ascertain materials or container to be moved
- Supervise the loading and unloading of materials to or from trucks, platforms, pallets, trays, shelves, and racks by hand and/or forklift.
- Supervises the loading of materials onto vehicles and installs strapping, supports, or padding to prevent them from shifting or becoming damaged during transport.
- Counts, weighs, and records number of units of materials moved or handled on daily production sheet
- Attaches identifying tags or labels to materials.
Physical Requirements
- Stand or sit for long periods of time
- Reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch and frequently required to climb or balance
- Regularly lift and/or move 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move 50 pounds by hand.
Education & Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Responsible for ensuring that freight is loaded and unloaded within warehouse in a safe and efficient manner utilizing forklift (15,000 pounds), pallet jack and/or hand truck.
Schedule: 8 hour shift
Experience: Warehouse experience: 2 years (Preferred)
License/Certification: Forklift Certification (Preferred)
Preferably speak English and Spanish

Pay: $28.00 - $30.00 per hour
