Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in operating various types of heavy farm and/or construction machinery. This role involves ensuring the safe and efficient operation of equipment while adhering to all safety protocols and regulations. The Equipment Operator will play a crucial role in the successful completion of construction projects and/or farm operations by effectively managing machinery and collaborating with team members.
Duties
- Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, tractors, and combines.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
- Ideally be capable of operating a semi-truck on an infrequent basis.
- Collaborate with team to execute tasks efficiently and safely.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while operating machinery to minimize risks on site.
- Maintain accurate records of work.
Skills
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to operate a semi-truck is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members efficiently.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices on the job site.
