A Fairbanks apartment community is hiring a full-time Building/Property Maintenance Technician.
Maintenance Technicians are responsible for the overall maintenance of the apartment complex and all areas related to the day‐to‐day maintenance operations of the community.
Applicants should have knowledge and use of basic hand and power tools. Some experience in construction labor or building maintenance is preferred. Willing to train the right person.
Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors, and fellow employees
Essential duties include, but are not limited to:
Full-time hours. Wages start at $17-$18/HR DOE, Monday -Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 p.m

- Repairing and treating structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors/cabinets, walls, and building exteriors
- Cleaning out apartments
- Prepare units for new move‐ins
- Complete groundwork such as: grounds pick up, sweeping, snow removal as neede,d and light landscaping

Requirements:
- Background may be viewed
- Valid Driver’s License
- Reliable transportation is needed daily and throughout shifts
- Valid insurance and registration
- Basic Hand Tools
