Job Summary:
TDL Staffing is hiring a Leasing Specialist for a full-time temporary position in Fairbanks. This role supports leasing, resident relations, and compliance for an affordable housing community. We’re looking for someone professional, organized, and comfortable working with confidential information.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct property tours, answer questions, and assist applicants with the leasing process.
- Process rental applications, verify eligibility, and ensure compliance with LIHTC and Fair Housing rules.
- Maintain leasing records and waitlists in accordance with company policies.
- Communicate courteously with residents, applicants, and community partners.
- Support the Community Manager with rent collection, notices, and administrative tasks.
- Conduct move-in/move-out inspections and assist in preparing units for new residents.
- Assist with marketing efforts to maintain occupancy goals.
Qualifications/Minimum Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; LIHTC certification (HCCP, C3P, SHCM) a plus.
- 2–3 years of experience in leasing, property management, affordable housing, or customer service preferred.
- Strong communication and writing skills.
- Professional temperament and ability to handle stressful situations calmly.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with property management software (Yardi, RealPage, etc.) preferred.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Background screening is a part of the hiring process for this position.
