RESPONSIBILITIES:
A. Regional IT Program Lead
• Operate as the day-to-day leader and primary program manager for the Regional IT Organization
• Help build a regional IT organization that scales well through a global tiered IT support model while enabling a level of autonomy for the TDK regional subsidiaries
• Translate Regional CIO direction into actionable roadmaps, priorities, and execution plans
• Identify common challenges and opportunities across subsidiaries and drive shared solutions
• Lead selection, adoption, and scaling of regional tools and platforms
• Coordinate cross-subsidiary initiatives, timelines, and dependencies
• Track KPIs, risks, cost efficiencies, and benefits realization
• Serve as liaison between GHQ IT, RHQ IT, and subsidiary IT leaders
• Prepare executive updates and strategic recommendations
B. Director of IT – TDK USA Corp. (TUC)
• Own end-to-end IT delivery for TUC
• Align IT strategy with local business leadership objectives
• Ensure operational stability, cybersecurity, and compliance
• Lead applications, infrastructure, and manufacturing/OT systems where applicable
• Drive modernization, efficiency improvements, and cost optimization
• Serve as a reference implementation for regional standards and best practices
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
• Advanced degree (MBA or Master’s in IT/Engineering) preferred
• Professional certifications in program management or IT governance are preferred
Required Experience
• 12–15 years of progressive IT leadership experience
• Prior experience as Head of IT, IT Director, or equivalent leadership role
• Strong program and portfolio management experience
• Experience operating in multi-subsidiary or regional environments
• Proven ability to balance standardization with operational flexibility
• Experience managing enterprise platforms and complex IT environments
• Manufacturing systems / OT experience preferred (if applicable)

The starting annual base pay for this role is between 155,000 and 200,000 USD for San Jose, . The actual base is dependent upon many factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, market demands. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
