Talent Acquisition Specialist

TDK-Lambda Americas
Neptune, NJ Full Time
POSTED ON 10/11/2026
AVAILABLE BEFORE 12/10/2026

The Opportunity

We are seeking a proactive, strategic, and results-driven Talent Acquisition Specialist to lead and execute recruitment efforts that attract, hire, and retain top talent for our advanced power electronics manufacturing and engineering operations.

In this role, you will balance hands-on, full-cycle recruiting with forward-looking talent strategies. You will manage high-volume recruiting across multi-site technical and manufacturing operations, design and lead an impactful intern/co-op program, build strong partnerships with academic institutions and industry networks, and champion our employer brand to ensure our workforce scales efficiently with business growth.

What You’ll Do

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment: Manage and execute the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle for manufacturing, factory, engineering, technical, and corporate support positions across multiple U.S. sites—successfully navigating high-volume hiring surges (e.g., 20 concurrent openings).
  • Intern & Co-op Program Leadership: Design, launch, and oversee a comprehensive company-wide intern/co-op program, encompassing sourcing, onboarding, project alignment, performance evaluations, and conversion to full-time hires.
  • Campus & Community Partnerships: Proactively establish and nurture strategic relationships with technical schools, colleges, universities, trade organizations, and professional associations to build sustainable candidate pipelines.
  • Employer Branding & Outreach: Plan and execute employer branding initiatives, recruitment marketing campaigns, career fairs, and networking events to position TDK-Lambda as an employer of choice in advanced power electronics.
  • Workforce Planning & Data Analytics: Track recruiting KPIs, analyze talent market trends, and partner collaboratively with hiring managers and leadership on headcount planning, forecasting, and process optimization.
  • Strategic HR Initiatives: Support broader HR programs including talent development, onboarding enhancement, and internal career mobility initiatives to foster long-term retention.

What You Bring

Education & Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent practical experience and training considered.
  • Experience: 4 to 6 years of related talent acquisition / full-cycle recruiting experience, preferably within a manufacturing, engineering, or technical environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • Recruiting Expertise: Proven track record managing high-volume, multi-site requisitions ranging from skilled manufacturing/trades to highly specialized engineering roles.
  • Program Management: Demonstrated ability to build or manage campus recruitment and intern/co-op programs.
  • Communication & Presentation: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface effectively at all organizational levels, present data to leadership, and represent the company externally.
  • Software & Systems: Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), HRIS/ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Problem Solving & Adaptability: High-level problem-solving ability with the capacity to handle practical challenges, adapt to changing priorities, and interpret varied instructions and data.

Key Competencies

  • Written & Verbal Communication: Communicates clearly, persuasively, and professionally across diverse candidate pools and internal stakeholder groups.
  • Relationship Building & Teamwork: Cultivates strong cross-functional partnerships and delivers high-touch candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • Planning & Organization: Prioritizes high requisition volumes efficiently, tracks key metrics, and meets established hiring timelines.
  • Professionalism & Dependability: Upholds confidentiality, integrity, sound judgment, and compliance with all employment laws and recruitment best practices.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Play a critical, highly visible role directly shaping the workforce of a global technology leader.
  • Drive impactful hiring across both cutting-edge engineering and advanced manufacturing operations.
  • Architect and lead a brand-new intern and co-op program from the ground up.
  • Build external community and academic partnerships that elevate our employer brand.
  • Work in a collaborative, supportive HR environment that values innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Advance your career with continuous professional development opportunities within a global organization.
