Service & Repair
Perform service, maintenance, and repairs on commercial plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.
Diagnose issues and recommend appropriate repair solutions.
Install, repair, and maintain piping, valves, fixtures, water heaters, boilers, pumps, and related equipment.
Conduct routine inspections to identify potential issues and ensure proper system operation.
Clear drains and address sewer-related service calls using proper tools and equipment.
Interpret blueprints, schematics, and job specifications to determine work details.
Ensure all work complies with local, state, and federal codes, as well as company safety standards.
Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in clean and safe condition.
Follow lockout/tagout, confined space, and other safety procedures as required.
Communicate clearly with customers regarding findings, recommended solutions, and service options.
Complete work orders, service tickets, and documentation accurately and on time.
Provide guidance or mentoring to Apprentice or Plumber I team members when needed.
- Participate in the on-call rotation as required.
- Assist in estimating labor, materials, and equipment needs for service work.
- Operate company vehicle safely and maintain proper upkeep.
Education & Experience
High school diploma or GED required.
Minimum 3-5 years of commercial plumbing service experience preferred.
Experience working in commercial or industrial settings, including restaurants, retail, healthcare, or institutional facilities.
Texas Journeyman Plumbing License required.
Valid Texas driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
Backflow Prevention Assembly Tester (BPAT) certification a plus.
Medical Gas certification preferred but not required.
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Solid understanding of plumbing codes, materials, and tools.
Excellent customer service and communication abilities.
Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and work in various environmental conditions.
