Cloud Solution Architect/Sr. Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Solution Architect/Sr. Engineer with deep expertise in both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS) to join a dedicated project team responsible for designing and deploying next-generation cloud and AI solutions. As an integral member of this team, selected candidate will collaborate closely with data analysts, AI/ML engineers, and application developers to architect secure, scalable, and business-aligned platforms that support modern enterprise applications. Sound knowledge of Generative AI, Agentic AI, and retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) methodologies is a core requirement for this role, enabling the design of intelligent, adaptable, and high-value AI-powered solutions. This position will oversee development within the lab environment, coordinate with the client IT department to provision the required infrastructure and provide support following production deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Partner with cross-functional team members—including developers, AI/ML specialists, and project managers—to deliver robust multi-cloud solutions leveraging Azure and AWS services for modern enterprise, data, and AI application workloads.

Architect cloud resources, APIs, networking, security controls, and orchestration patterns across Azure and AWS to enable scalable, resilient, and integrated enterprise application and AI platforms.

Establish CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices across multi-cloud environments, championing automation from code through to GenAI model deployment, agent orchestration, monitoring, evaluation, and iterative improvement.

Guide and implement secure connectivity across Azure, AWS, and on-premises infrastructure, ensuring application and data flows reliably, securely, and efficiently across hybrid environments.

Design and govern GenAI and Agentic AI application architectures, including LLM integration, prompt/orchestration frameworks, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG), tool use, workflow automation, evaluation, observability, and responsible AI controls.

Mentor team members in best practices for cloud-native, multi-cloud AI solutions, fostering a collaborative, learning-focused environment across Azure, AWS, and modern GenAI development patterns.

Oversee that all solutions are resilient, cost-efficient, observable, and compliant with organizational and industry standards for data privacy, security, model governance, and responsible AI.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Proven experience architecting enterprise solutions across both Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS), preferably supporting AI, data-driven, or intelligent automation workloads in collaborative, project-based environments.

Expertise

Azure services such as App Services, API Management, Azure OpenAI, AI Search, Cognitive Services, and Azure SQL Database

•            AWS services such as Bedrock, Lambda, API Gateway, ECS/EKS, S3, Textract, Comprehend, and data services supporting AI application workloads

•            Containerization and orchestration (Docker, AKS, EKS) to package and scale cloud-native applications and AI workloads

•            CI/CD and DevOps practices for multi-cloud AI delivery using Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, AWS-native tooling, or similar platforms

•            Networking and hybrid cloud integration to enable secure and seamless data flow between Azure, AWS, and on-premises systems

•            Sound knowledge of GenAI, Agentic AI, and RAG methodologies, including LLM integration, prompt engineering, agent frameworks, tool orchestration, vector databases, evaluation, observability, and responsible AI guardrails

•            Understanding of data governance, security, compliance, and model risk requirements for solutions handling sensitive, regulated, or mission-critical information

•            Strong communication and teamwork skills, with experience working in agile, cross-functional teams and translating business needs into scalable cloud and AI architecture decisions
