What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grounds Leader - Greater Cincinnati Area position at TDG Facilities, LLC?
tdgFacilities is looking for a full-time all year Commercial Grounds Crew Lead to help serve one of our large retail clients in the Greater Cincinnati area. This position requires a keen eye for detail and a great attitude combined with a commitment to excellence. We are seeking someone that can lead a team managing various landscaping projects.
Pay Rate: $20 to $22 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 7am to 4pm (depending on weather)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Hands-on managing a Grounds crew.
- Inspect exterior of each property and grounds.
- Prepare grounds for seasonal changes, while working outside in all types of weather.
- Lead crew in weekly lawn maintenance, mulching, and landscape projects.
- Weed flowerbeds, trim bushes and/or trees to maintain neat appearance and desired shape.
- Dedicated weekly mowing route.
- Shovel/plow and clear icy exterior walkways and parking lots during any wintry weather.
- Safely and properly operate/maintain equipment and tools. Including, gas-powered equipment such as mowers, string trimmers, leaf blowers.
- Responsible for using phone/tablet to complete site inspections, enter crew’s time and material into work order system.
- Other tasks assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Grounds/Lawn Maintenance experience.
- Experience managing a crew preferred.
- Keen eye for detail, organized, and great attitude.
- Ability to self-manage and perform each essential duty beyond satisfaction
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent problem-solving and time management skills.
- Effective communication skills.
- Must be able to pass background checks, drug screening.
- Ability to work overtime.
