Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and other commercial vehicles to deliver products to customers and job sites
- Load and unload cargo using forklifts, pallet jacks, or manual lifting techniques, ensuring proper handling and safety protocols
- Follow designated routes efficiently while adhering to traffic laws and delivery schedules
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating professionally with clients during deliveries
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as organizing inventory and preparing shipments for dispatch
- Conduct routine vehicle inspections before and after trips to ensure safety standards are met
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation, including logs and delivery receipts
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience with commercial driving preferred
- Proven delivery driver experience with a focus on route driving and customer interaction
- Ability to operate a box truck with manual transmission; forklift and pallet jack certification is a plus
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting and moving tasks regularly
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Experience working in warehouse environments or logistics operations is advantageous
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to heavy lifting, moving, and vehicle operation
