The Doctors Company is seeking a Senior Sales Analyst. Based on the final candidates distance from a company office this position may be remote or in office.
Position Mission
This role is responsible for driving efficiency and growth by optimizing business systems, streamlining processes, and delivering actionable insights. Acting as a strategic partner across teams to ensure system integrity, standardize policies, and lead projects that enable data-driven decisions and continuous improvement.
Qualifications
- Three to five (3–5) years’ experience; insurance company/agency experience a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- Proficiency in Salesforce and Power BI, with intermediate to advanced Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to collaborate with IT and cross-functional teams to design, implement, and optimize automated systems that improve efficiency.
- Skilled in analyzing workflows, identifying barriers, and ensuring policies, procedures, and service standards meet organizational goals.
- Strong analytical skills to develop accurate, timely reports and actionable insights for strategic and operational decision-making.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and deliver results within deadlines using structured plans and communication strategies.
- Competence in creating test cases, performing functional testing, analyzing results, and ensuring system integrity throughout the lifecycle.
- Ability to prepare clear documentation and deliver effective training for system users and team members.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with regions, HQ, and stakeholders on initiatives, policies, and system enhancements.
- Flexibility to take on diverse assignments, troubleshoot issues, and implement solutions that optimize business processes.

Responsibilities
Business Systems and Process Improvement
- In partnership with IT, regions and direct sales, develops and supports automated systems that increase efficiency of sales and service for direct business
- Ensures system functionality meets direct business requirement and coordinates enhancements as needed
- Analyzes systems effectiveness by soliciting feedback from end users and eliminates barriers to performance
- Coordinates implementation of direct sales policies, practices and procedures in coordination with regions and national direct sales
- In collaboration with Regions and HQ, coordinates development of standardized service agreements to support growth and retention of MPL and outside lines
- Coordinates review of standardized sales policies, procedures, and service standards for quality purposes and reports inconsistencies to stakeholders in the regions and HQ
- Ensures the implementation of approved sales programs meet applicable Guiding Principles, Goals and Guidelines
- Coordinates close-out/retirement of cancelled sales programs
Distribution Channel Management

Generates Channel Performance reporting including the development of recommendation of operational adjustments/corrective actions when needed

Responsible for developing and interpreting analytical data that is timely and accurate and designed to assist in the strategic and operation management of the department and direct sales

Collaborates with regions to determine reports needed to manage regional sales teams

Oversees design, production, and distribution of reports
Project Management / Task Management

Manages and prioritizes assigned project and department related functions and tasks

Tracks system feature/function updates as assigned, coordinating with business, developers, Project Manager and others as appropriate

Estimates tasks required for business requirements or quality assurance, track progress against estimates, and report status

Designs, develops and proposes a plan to implement new/modified IT products and services in conjunction with other departments.

- Software evaluation, design, develop, test, and monitor effectiveness
- Training Roll-out Plan, including setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities (Internal/External)
- Lead a team or committee to support the implementation and execution of the identified plan
- Monitor and manage progress against the plan and report results to Leadership
- Authorizes and coordinates the migration of application changes, enhancements and fixes between testing and production environments
- Trains system users on software use and assists in training other analysts on development and analysis tools.
Analysis, Design & Execution
- Consults with users, project team (and department team as needed) to determine software and system functionality to meet business system needs
- Designs and develops queries, reports and reporting systems as needed for project and business needs
- Provides solutions: Analyzes, designs and documents modifications for computer systems and programs including requirements documentation, prototypes, mock-ups and system documentation
- Develops test cases with fully designed expected results to meet system functional requirements
- Performs system functional testing utilizing existing or newly developed test cases application development, modification, and/or software version upgrades
- Analyzes test results, including user interface data presentation, output documents, and database field values, for accuracy and consistency
- Creates system/user documentation and Trains system users on Software functionality and usage
- Monitors progression of issues/defects and retests as needed
- Design, develop and propose plans to implement new/modified IT functionality and services in conjunction with other departments
- Develops overall project Test Plan that incorporates all project testing needed.
- Monitors overall system functionality throughout project life cycle
Education & Development
- Strives to improve healthcare industry knowledge and product knowledge
- Works to improve knowledge of and presentation skills for TDC'S services
- Works to improve sales and customer relationship skills

Salary Range: $67,379 - $88,435
