**Overview:**
We are seeking a skilled Traffic Controller to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ensuring the safe flow of traffic at work sites.
**Responsibilities:**
- Direct traffic at Work zones to ensure the safety of workers and the public
- Coordinate with work crews to facilitate the movement of vehicles safely through the work zone
- Use signaling devices and signs to guide drivers through work zones
- Set up and maintain traffic control devices such as cones, signs, and barricades
- Monitor traffic flow and adjust control measures as needed
- Read a traffic control plan and execute it as prepared by the Traffic Saftey Manager
-Take online training and testing
**Skills:**
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment on a construction site
- Strong communication skills to coordinate with team members and drivers efficiently
-Ability to use a computer, phone, and tablet as needed
**Requirements**
- High School Degree or equivalent
- Minimum 18 years old
- Valid Driver's license
-Ability to travel out of local area and out of state when needed
-Ability to spend the night out of the local area and out of state when needed
-Ability to communicate with the public, fellow staff, state workers, and first responders in english
-Able to stand for more than 4 hours continuously
-Lift 50lbs on a regular basis
