TDI is currently seeking a Vice President of Sales—Business Development to join our firm in Washington, D.C. Reporting directly to the President, the VP will lead sales strategy, build and manage a sales team, and engage senior-level clients, with a key focus on the life sciences manufacturing market, including pharma, biotech, and devices.
Job Responsibilities
The Vice President of Sales—Business Development will have the following responsibilities :
- Gain a comprehensive understanding of TDI's products and services.
- Craft and implement a sales strategy with senior management for existing and potential new clients.
- Manage current sales resources to ensure optimal performance.
- Hire, train, and mentor sales team members.
- Conduct product demonstrations and informational presentations.
- Establish and maintain positive and productive client relationships.
- Meet or exceed revenue targets.
- Manage all aspects of the sales process, including pre-sales strategy, target identification, meetings, pricing solutions, proposal writing, follow-ups, and closing deals.
- Focus on client satisfaction and act on client feedback.
- Innovate and adapt strategies in a fast-paced environment.
- Present effectively to stakeholders at all levels.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate for the Vice President of Sales—Business Development position will possess the following :
Track record of meeting or exceeding revenue targets.
Location : Washington, DC
Travel : Ability to travel to client sites throughout North America as needed, up to 50% of the time. Occasional travel outside North America may also be required.
Compensation : $200,000 – $350,000 annualized
