Your Role:
As a BIM Designer, you will be responsible for the drafting and detailing of precast concrete structures. Responsibilities include:
- Work with project managers and team to draft and detail various types of Precast Concrete projects in Tekla Structures PC (BIM)
- Review erection drawings and fabrication drawings for conformance to design
- Coordinate with designer and engineer on multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely completion
- Develop and maintain structural Tekla models for precast concrete projects in accordance with design and project standards
- Prepare detailed fabrication drawings and coordination models for precast and structural components
- Assist in the continuous improvement of BIM standards and workflows within the precast department

What We’re Looking For:
We are seeking motivated BIM Designers. The candidate will work under experienced project managers all holding Professional Engineer licenses. The Ideal candidate is detail-oriented, self-motivated and eager to contribute to a growing team. The ideal candidate will have:
- 1-5 years of experience in precast concrete or structural/concrete detailing and drafting preferred
- Proficiency in Tekla Structures PC BIM Software
- 3D BIM experience is a plus
- Experience with other BIM software such as Solidworks is a plus
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit software
- Strong understanding of structural drafting standards and practices
- Ability to read and interpret construction documents
- Skilled in reviewing fabrication and erection drawings
- Excellent organization and verbal/written communication skills
- Ability to work in Tekla Precast Concrete Structures (BIM) >90% of the time
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects efficiently while meeting deadlines.
