Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our properties through a variety of maintenance tasks. This role requires a strong background in property maintenance, electrical systems, and mechanical knowledge, along with the ability to troubleshoot and fix whatever problem that may arise.
Duties
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility components to ensure optimal performance.
- Fabricate and repair various structures and equipment as needed to maintain operational efficiency.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good working order.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks.
- A great attitude and team player mindset.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols.
Experience
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance with a strong understanding of electrical systems.
- Demonstrated ability to fabricate components or structures as required.
- Experience in residential painting, repairing walls, flooring and appliances.
- Strong leadership skills with previous supervisory experience in a maintenance role is advantageous.
- Solid mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
