Transportation Concierge Services is looking for an Area Operations & Fleet Manager to lead our Indianapolis driver team.
You do not need transportation experience—we can teach you transportation. We are looking for someone who brings strong leadership, organization, follow-through, and confidence using technology.
This is a hands-on management role. Some days you'll be reviewing payroll and working in Paycom. Other days you'll be coaching employees, solving operational problems, working with HR, or stepping into a company van to help cover transportation needs.
What You'll Do
- Lead, coach, and support our Indianapolis driver team.
- Manage daily staffing and operational needs.
- Work in Paycom to manage employee information, timekeeping, attendance, and payroll-related items.
- Review payroll and comparison reports to help ensure drivers are paid correctly.
- Work closely with HR to maintain company policies, documentation, attendance, and accountability standards.
- Address employee performance concerns and complete required documentation.
- Monitor driver training, credentials, and compliance requirements.
- Work with Dispatch, Fleet, Compliance, and HR to solve day-to-day issues.
- Help coordinate vehicle needs, inspections, maintenance, and reporting.
- Use reports and technology to spot problems and follow them through to resolution.
- Step into operations when needed, including driving company vehicles and transporting members.
What We're Looking For
- Previous management or supervisory experience.
- Experience leading hourly employees is strongly preferred.
- Strong technology skills and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
- Experience with payroll, HRIS, scheduling, timekeeping, or workforce-management systems. Paycom experience is a plus.
- Comfortable using spreadsheets, reports, and comparison tools.
- Detail-oriented—you notice when something doesn't look right and investigate it.
- Strong communication, organization, and follow-through.
- Comfortable coaching employees and holding people accountable.
- Able to balance desk work with the realities of a fast-moving operation.
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
- Willing and able to drive company vehicles and transport members when needed.
No Transportation Background? That's Okay.
Great managers come from many industries. You may have managed a retail store, restaurant, healthcare team, warehouse, call center, field-service team, or another busy operation.
We'll teach you our transportation business.
We're looking for someone who can lead people, learn our systems, work closely with HR, pay attention to the details, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when the team needs help.
