Lifecycle Biotechnologies, a TCP Analytical Company in the life science industry for 40 years is looking for a Human Resources Generalist, based out of Cleburne, Texas.
About the Role
The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for recruitment efforts, employee relations, new hire orientation and onboarding, payroll and benefits, company policy and procedure adherence.
Responsibilities
Payroll
- Prepares, processes, and validates bi-weekly payroll to ensure accurate and timely employee remuneration.
- Compiles and prepares payroll data such as garnishments, time off, commission and bonus payments, insurance, and other deductions.
- Ensures collection of accurate and complete time information. Reminds employees and managers as needed.
- Updates and maintains all employee information in the payroll system.
- Processes all approved changes to employee records and payments, including new hires and terminations.
- Participates in decisions regarding Payroll system related processes. Implements new system functionality, workflow, etc.
Human Resources
- This role partners with the business to attract and onboard talent, provides day‑to‑day HR support to employees, maintains accurate HR data, supports compliance with company policies, and contributes to HR reporting, metrics, and projects.
- Full cycle recruiting including posting jobs, actively sourcing and screening candidates.
- Schedule and participate in interviews.
- Draft offer letters and assist in negotiations.
- Manage new hire process by coordinating pre-employment screening, new hire paperwork processing, and employee orientations and other recruitment duties.
- Support employee relations and respond to basic HR inquiries.
- Maintain HR records and ensure data accuracy.
- Coordinate leave programs and benefits support.
- Ensure compliance with company policies.
- Prepares reports to track employee relations, hiring, termination metrics and other HR KPIs.
- Support HR projects, as needed.
Qualifications
- 3-5 years’ experience in Human Resources with an emphasis on payroll, recruiting, and employee relations.
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- PHR designation or working towards designation.
- Payroll experience preferably with ADP. Payroll certification desirable.
- Computer proficiency in MS office technical aptitude.
- Working knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements effecting benefits or payroll including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, workers’ compensation, Medicare, SS, and DOL requirements.
- Strong analytical and problems solving skills.
- Ability to plan and prioritize among competing priorities.
- Ability to operate independently and proven track record of exercising good judgment in challenging situations.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information professionally.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
