Summary
Provide field support for deployed systems.
Essential Functions
• Essential functions as outlined in Field Services Tech I.
• Progressively contributes to the team and projects in an above average manner.
• Participate in department or division improvement activities.
• Perform troubleshooting to look for areas of opportunity, as well as compliance and implementation issues.
• Develop, research, and recommend test procedures.
• Utilize technical knowledge to solve complex problems.
• Write test plans, procedures, conduct tests, and document results.
• With engineering assistance, facilitate minor design projects from the concept stage through production, and make modifications as necessary.
• Responsible for defining technical approaches and tasks related to activities and minor projects.
• May be called upon to perform comparable duties of a similar or related nature and/or assist in other areas as needed.
Education and Experience
• Associate’s degree in engineering, or related technical field, or experience in lieu of education.
• 3 years’ experience in aviation or electrical/mechanical is preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prior military experience is preferred.

• Well‑developed problem analysis and problem‑solving techniques.
Physical Requirements
Jobs will be performed while sitting or standing. Frequent lifting and moving of lightweight materials, occasionally in difficult work positions. Occasional lifting of items. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
