What are the responsibilities and job description for the E/M Technician C position at TCOM, L.P.?
Combine knowledge of mechanical technology with knowledge of electrical circuits for the installation, operation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of electro/mechanical systems associated with facilities and production equipment. Involves working with engineers to develop electrical/mechanical systems in support of product and production line work.
Working Procedure:
- Align, fit, or assemble component parts to complete a system
- Assemble and repair hydraulic and pneumatic assemblies
- Operate metal working machines (Drill press, band saws, etc.)
- Test Electro-mechanical assemblies for proper operation
- Read manufacturing outlines for electronic products, read schematics, read technical drawings
- Understand technical operating, service or repair manuals
- Inspect equipment, structures, or materials to identify the cause of errors or other problems or defects
- Gains job specific expertise through various sources (e.g. on-the-job training, trade publications, vendor publications and manuals, etc.)
- Monitor Processes, Materials, or Surroundings — Monitoring and reviewing information from materials, events, or the environment, to detect or assess problems
- Observe, record, and report unsafe working conditions
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Education Requirement: High school diploma or equivalent, plus two years of formal technical training (via military or civilian technical schools) desired.
Experience Requirement: Two years of electrical or mechanical experience required.
