Duties
- Create and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that promote learning through play and exploration.
- Supervise and engage with children in daily activities, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, promoting positive interactions among children.
- Provide individualized care to children, including those with disabilities or special needs.
- Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress and any concerns that may arise.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and stimulating classroom environment conducive to learning.
- Collaborate with other staff members to enhance the overall educational experience for children.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in caregiving or childcare settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and strategies for educating young children.
- Experience working with children of various ages, including infants and preschoolers.
- Ability to provide compassionate care for children with disabilities or special needs is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and colleagues.
- A genuine passion for nurturing children's development through creative play and structured activities.
- Must have CDA or at least 3 years in State of Tennessee /DHS Childcare Center
