What You’ll Do
As a Transportation Operations Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring smooth and efficient PM transportation operations by:
- Managing daily transportation and dispatch operations for drivers and customer accounts.
- Leading evening and overnight operational execution to ensure service expectations are met.
- Building strong customer relationships while driving operational performance and accountability.
- Overseeing driver scheduling, route coverage, DOT compliance, and Hours of Service (HOS) auditing.
- Partnering with Safety and HR teams to support compliance initiatives, training, and company policies.
- Recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and developing driver teams for long-term success.
- Conducting accident investigations, performance counseling, and corrective action documentation as needed.
- Monitoring KPIs, service metrics, and operational efficiencies to continuously improve performance.
- Bilingual in Spanish and English — required
- Experience in transportation operations, dispatch, logistics supervision, or fleet management
- Strong understanding of DOT/FMCSA regulations and transportation safety compliance
- Ability to lead in a fast-paced, high-volume PM/after-hours environment
- Experience managing driver performance, scheduling, and customer service expectations
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and Transportation Management Systems (TMS)
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and capable of making real-time operational decisions
