What We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a Seasonal Field Technician to assist the Field Department Manager in the production of crops. Seasonal: May-October 2026, depending on operational needs.
Work Location: Pasco, Washington
Benefits of Field Technician
• Wages, Range $20.00-$23.00 per hour, depending on experience.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspect fields, take samples, observe growing plants and relay any concerns to the field department manager.
• Maintain positive relationships with growers, building confidence and trust, which fosters long term partnerships in production of crops for TCF.
Other Duties and Responsibilities:
• Monitor and document pest control findings, collect, review and document company and grower applied crop protection materials in Excel and company databases.
• Inspect fields for foreign materials and remove any detrimental or inappropriate materials.
• Relay grower concerns and keep growers informed of current field growing conditions and crop health status.
• Analyze and resolve work problems or assist workers in solving work problems.
• Operate equipment such as 4-wheeler, harvester, 1 Ton truck, 1 ½ Ton truck, Tractor & Buggy.
• Assist in maintaining compliance records. Adhere to Company GMP's and Handbook.
• Perform various additional duties in Ag Center (maintenance equipment, administration, etc.)
• MP2 or data entry on other programs
• Must be able to work any shift (days/nights/weekends)
Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:
Essential Physical Abilities:
Regularly exposed to outdoor weather and varied conditions. Frequently works near moving equipment and mechanical parts with moderate noise level. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 80 pounds. Close, distance, peripheral vision and depth perception, with ability to adjust focus are required. Regularly required to travel 200-300 miles a day and walk in uneven fields during various levels of growing season and harvest. Reasonable accommodation may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.

Knowledge, Skill and Experience Required:
- One to two years' experience in field operation activities is desired, or any equivalent combination of experience and training which provides the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to oversee the growing of fields or crops.
- Must be able to acquire a First Aid and CPR Certification, and forklift operation (TCF will provide training).
- Valid driver's license with excellent driving record.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner through skillful collection, analysis and documentation of data.
