This position is based at the Toyota Headquarters in Plano, TX with onsite work Monday-Thursday and remote work on Fridays Senior Analyst – Analytics @ Toyota Financial Services Who we're looking for Toyota Financial Services is looking for highly motivated Senior Analysts for various open roles across our analytics teams. The primary focus of the Senior Analyst will be to support data-driven decisions through the acquisition and analysis of data and the effective communication of actionable insights. The following Analytics teams currently have Senior Analyst openings, and applying to this job posting will put you in consideration for all Analyst and Sr. Analyst openings in Analytics: Pricing and Originations Analytics Pricing and Originations Analytics purpose is to deliver data-driven insights that help inform pricing strategy, business performance, and decision-making across the organization. The team is responsible for leading the development and delivery of analyses and reports for monthly Pricing Committee meetings, leveraging the origination cash flow model to conduct pricing and profitability assessments, and partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to identify trends, address key business questions, and drive improved outcomes. This role is ideal for candidates with strong analytical thinking, financial acumen, and financial modeling skills, along with exceptional attention to detail, clear communication, and the ability to collaborate effectively. The role also requires advanced proficiency in Excel and Tableau, as well as working knowledge of SQL or python. Sales Compliance & Analytics The Sales & Compliance Analytics team supports Sales Operations Compliance, Enterprise Compliance, and Field Sales with reporting, analysis, and data-driven decision support. Using SQL and Python, this role handles ad hoc data requests, performs root cause analyses, and supports compliance issue tracking and remediation. In addition to the general requirements listed below in the What You Bring section, this role is best suited for someone who can proactively manage multiple issue investigations and ad hoc requests while maintaining a strong data quality and controls mindset. RV Loss Forecasting In addition to the general requirements listed below in the What You Bring section, this specific Sr. Analyst role is ideal for someone who is proficient in both SQL and Python, and works comfortably in white space taking business questions and forming them into a structured analysis The Residual Value Risk team is responsible for developing and leading the company's strategic outlook on the used car market, vehicle depreciation rates, and lease residual values. This role will support the quarterly forecasting process over Residual Value (RV) losses using advanced statistical models in Python to properly assess the outstanding risk on TMCC’s multi-billion dollar lease portfolio. This position suits candidates with high attention to detail, ability to adapt forecast scenarios to rapidly changing conditions (tariffs, recalls, BEVs, etc.), and desire to continuously improve existing forecasting models by partnering with Data Science, Accounting, and Finance. This role also requires excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to effectively understand and explain complicated technical concepts. Commercial Lending Identify areas to optimize descriptive analytics through modernization, consolidation and elimination Use data mining best practices to build data products that scale the scope and re-usability of underlying data to address commercial origination and risk management needs Identify and execute on opportunities to advance how we identify dealer credit deterioration and early risk signals using data What you'll be doing Uncover business needs to properly frame your analysis. Efficiently leverage coding skills to acquire and organize data. Discover insights through data exploration, quantitative analysis, and creative problem solving. Develop solutions to address the opportunities uncovered within your analysis. Influence decision making through effective verbal presentation, written communication, and intuitive data visualizations. Coordinate with stakeholders to help implement, monitor, and measure recommended actions. Build relationships with key stakeholders across Toyota such as Sales, Marketing, Servicing, Insurance, Risk, Technology, Legal/Compliance, Finance, Treasury, Commercial Lending, etc. Continuously improve your advanced analytical, communication, and people skills through offered training and on-the-job experience to prepare for advancement into analytical leadership roles. Become a subject matter expert within your business area by developing a comprehensive understanding of its strategies, processes, policies, and data. Guide/mentor other analysts on best practices for analysis and data storytelling. What you’ll bring Bachelor’s degree or higher in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field. 3+ years of relevant professional work experience (paid, non-academic). Professional experience coding in SQL (certain Analytics teams also use Python). Coding testing will be conducted in the interview process. Professional experience with Excel and PowerPoint Professional experience with Data Acquisition, Data Manipulation, and Data Cleaning Professional experience identifying trends and indicators through quantitative and qualitative analysis. Professional experience with statistics and predictive modelling techniques. Experience with presentation skills, including proposing strategic recommendations to management and clearly articulating technical concepts to non-technical audiences. Experience collaborating effectively with others as well as working independently while in a hybrid work environment. Added bonus if you have MBA or advanced degree in Statistics, Finance, Accounting, Math, Economics, Engineering, Analytics, or similar quantitative STEM field. Professional work experience in auto financing, consumer lending and/or financial institutions. Advanced statistics knowledge.
