Overview
We are seeking a reliable and dedicated Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring timely and safe delivery of goods while providing excellent customer service. This position requires a strong commitment to safety and efficiency, as well as the ability to navigate various routes effectively.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate delivery vehicles, including vans and trucks, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Perform route driving duties, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to traffic laws and company policies.
• Provide exceptional customer service by interacting positively with clients during deliveries.
• Utilize pallet jacks and other equipment for loading and unloading products as needed.
• Conduct routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safe operation.
• Handle heavy lifting of packages and materials, ensuring proper lifting techniques are used.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations.
• Collaborate with warehouse staff to ensure efficient loading processes and inventory management.

Qualifications

• Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar courier role is preferred.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
• Familiarity with manual transmission vehicles is a plus.
• Experience in route driving and knowledge of local roads is advantageous.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Experience working in a warehouse setting is beneficial.
• A valid driver's license with a clean driving record is required.
• Must be able to pass any necessary background checks or driving assessments as required by the company.
