Job Overview
Our organization is seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Electrical General Foreman to join our team. Our work locations are mainly in the PA/OH/WV corridor but can be located anywhere throughout the county, and travel could be necessary. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of experience managing heavy industrial/commercial electrical projects with budgets up to $5 million or more. This role requires strong leadership skills, exceptional project layout abilities, and the ability to effectively oversee and coordinate all aspects of electrical construction projects.
Responsibilities
- Manage and supervise electrical construction projects from inception to completion.
- Be able to assist in providing resources and qualified labor to support ongoing projects.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other construction professionals.
- Oversee the activities of electricians and other site personnel.
- Ensure strict compliance with all safety regulations and building codes.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project documentation and reports.
- Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that may occur during the construction process.
- Maintain a valid electrical journeyman’s license as required.
Requirements:
- Minimum of five years of experience as an Electrical General Foreman.
- Proven track record in managing projects with budgets of $5 million or more.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Keen understanding of Division 500 in the NEC.
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver's license.
- Willingness to travel for a duration of up to 18 months.
- Ability to provide references upon request.
- The position is a non-union position
- Ability to pass a DOT Drug Test.
