Hours are 8am-430pm, on site in Carson City NV
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) and a minimum of five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Physical Demands
- The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 90 pounds.
Responsibilities:Maintains and repairs machinery such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment. Performs maintenance and repairs to physical structures of facility.
- Reads and understands blue prints, schematics, and technical drawings.
- Conducts tests to locate mechanical system malfunction.
- Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble.
- Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts.
- Examines form and texture of parts to detect imperfections.
- Inspects used parts to determine changes in dimensional requirements.
- Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments.
- Repairs or replaces defective parts.
- Installs special functional and structural parts in devices.
- Lubricates and cleans parts.
- Uses machine tools in installation, maintenance or repair.
- Starts devices to test their performance.
