What are the responsibilities and job description for the Legal Clerk - CA Workers' Compensation Experience position at TCA Consulting Group Inc.?
This is a one month, possibly longer position to cover for a leave of absence.
It will be in the office in Brea, CA 5 days a week.
You will be assisting our Workers Comp Office with preparing medical packages to email or mail PQME/AME Doctors, printing/sorting and mailing packages via USPS or UPS.
Summary:
The main function of a clerk may include e-filing documents with the Court. A typical office clerk acts as an information and communication distributor for an office.
Job Responsibilities:
- Instruct staff on proper communication protocol with customers, employees, and other individuals to answer questions, disseminate or explain information, and address complaints.
- Assign staff to compile, copy, sort, and file records of office activities, business transactions and other activities.
- Review and proofread data and other information, such as records or reports.
- Supervise the maintenance of files, inventory, mailing, and database systems.
Skills:
- Verbal and written communication skills, multi-tasking, customer service skills and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage one’s time.
- Ability to keep information organized and confidential.
- Basic mentoring skills necessary to provide support and constructive performance feedback.
- Previous experience with computer applications, such as Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Education/Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 5-7 years administrative/customer service related experience required.
* 1-3 years of CA Workers' Compensation Experience
