What are the responsibilities and job description for the Field Technician/Land Surveyor Instrument Operator position at TC Merritts Land Surveyors PC?
TC Merritts Land Surveyors PC located in Westchester County, New York and is recognized as an industry leader in professional land surveying and GIS consulting.
We are seeking a field technician to collect land features, buildings, environmental surroundings and utility infrastructure using 3D Laser Scanning, GPS and total station instruments with the assistance of a field manager.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, running a total station instrument with a windows based environment data collector
Our services include Title, Boundary, Construction, Topographic and Utility Surveys and property line staking.
Requirements: Minimum 2 years of applicable experience in this position. Experience with field equipment including GPS devices and Data Collectors.
Knowledge of Excel, uploading and downloading data, and word documents are preferred.
