We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. The Truck Driver will ensure timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations and company policies. 2 Years Experience and Clean MVR & PSP Required
Duties
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in safe operating condition.
- Plan routes effectively to ensure timely deliveries while considering traffic patterns and road conditions.
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including logs of hours worked and mileage driven.
- Communicate with dispatchers regarding any issues or delays encountered during route driving.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations.
- Handle loading and unloading of cargo as required, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Drive manual transmission vehicles when necessary.
Skills
- Proven experience as a delivery driver with a strong understanding of route driving.
- Strong knowledge of manual and automatic transmission driving techniques.
- Excellent navigational skills with the ability to read maps and use GPS systems effectively.
- Strong communication skills to interact with dispatchers and clients professionally.
- Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently while meeting deadlines.
- Attention to detail in maintaining logs and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
