Duties
- Efficiently pick and prepare orders using scanners and warehouse management systems to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Safely operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment for loading and unloading shipments
- Ensuring a clean and safe environment is always maintained, as well as putting back any overpicked inventory correctly and swiftly.
- Efficiently and accurately relocate pallets from location using a scanner.
- Load and unload trucks, ensuring proper handling and stacking on pallets or storage areas
- Assist with shipping & receiving processes by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments against documentation
- Support warehouse management activities such as inventory counts, cycle counts, and maintaining a clean workspace
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse distribution, order picking, or related logistics roles with familiarity in warehouse operations
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners for accurate order picking
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely for extended periods in a fast-paced environment
- Prior warehouse supervisor or leadership experience is a plus but not required
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
