Responsibilities
- Perform construction estimating, blueprint reading, and project planning to ensure accurate execution of tasks.
- Execute framing, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, and drywall installation with precision.
- Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment safely and effectively.
- Install fixtures such as doors, cabinets, siding, stucco, and roofing components.
- Conduct concrete forming, masonry work, tile laying, flooring installation, and plastering as required.
- Engage in water damage restoration, mold remediation, water proofing (caulking), and general restoration projects.
- Assist with rebar installation, electrical wiring (if qualified), plumbing tasks, and HVAC-related work.
- Read schematics and blueprints to accurately interpret project specifications.
- Perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety standards.
- Contribute to remodeling projects involving carpentry, painting (construction painting), fixture installation, and siding.
- Support the team in fabricating custom components for various construction needs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment while adhering to safety protocols on construction sites.
Skills
- Proven experience in construction estimating and blueprint reading.
- Extensive knowledge of trim carpentry, framing (including metal stud), roofing, siding, stucco, drywall finishing, and cabinetry installation.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools (including CNC machines), scaffolding setup, and fabrication equipment.
- Familiarity with concrete forming techniques and masonry work.
- Experience in water damage restoration and mold remediation industries is preferred.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely; physically fit for demanding tasks involving lifting over 50 pounds regularly.
- Strong understanding of schematics for electrical or plumbing systems (preferred but not mandatory).
- Knowledge of the restoration industry standards or remodeling processes is advantageous.
- Skilled in working independently or as part of a team on diverse construction projects requiring attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.
