What We Need From You
TBWA\Chiat\Day Los Angeles and Lola are seeking a Head of Growth who embodies the values, attitude, and approach of both agencies. This role is key to driving growth and aligning with each organization's culture. This role will actively prospect and advocate for the agency, work closely with the Comms team to build our reputation, and oversee autonomously run new business pitches of varying sizes.
This person is a highly proactive, strategic individual, leading a small but mighty team to take responsibility for TBWA\Chiat\Day LA and Lola’s growth plans. The right person for this role can identify new opportunities to expand and strengthen our existing client relationships, while driving revenue growth for both TBWA/Chiat/Day LA and Lola.
What You Will Be Doing
Shape the overall agency service offering
Proactively build and nurture our prospecting timeline and leads
Lead all RFIs and RFPs, including developing and cultivating relationships with key external stakeholders such as search consultants and client leads
Proactively initiate client relationships and learn the client’s business inside and out
Identify opportunity areas for organic growth against the agency’s capabilities, and our greater Omnicom network’s capabilities.
Work closely with the leadership team to elevate new business processes.
Partner with account leads to drive responses to RFI and RFPs for existing clients’ additional business in an innovative, flawless, and timely manner
Audit and understand roster agency relationships & responsibilities across our key clients
Lead bi-weekly internal organic growth business meetings.
Create capabilities presentations and other marketing materials – fully leveraging the agency narrative and assets
Coordinate internal resources within the office and across offices to develop client proposals, working in partnership with integrated teams.
Ensure alignment with the team to set clear critical paths, project deliverables, milestones, timetables, and calendars.
Work with the CEO, Head of Operations & Head of Business Leadership to recommend staffing and resources for any and all converted growth opportunities
Oversee the growth manager and related growth staff
Qualifications
12 years of agency experience preferably with business development experience within an advertising agency.
Confirmed and proven record of running successful pitch processes
Entrepreneurial skills
Self-motivated
Ability to simplify the complex and complicated into clear and concise tasks
Solid track record of developing successful relationships with internal and external partners.
Communicates effectively and with influence at all levels and across all functions.
Understands industry developments, market trends, and their impact on business.
Strong client-facing communication skills with the ability to quickly understand client needs.
Moderate ability to design and build presentation decks in Keynote, PowerPoint, and Google Slides preferred.
All hires must be located in or willing to relocate to Los Angeles to work from our offices hybrid three days a week.
Los Angeles $200,000-$225,000
Omnicom’s policy requires employees to work in the office for a minimum of three days a week, unless additional in-office days are directed by their agency or manager. Our objective is to increase this requirement over time, and many of our agencies as well as Omnicom’s corporate group already require five days of in-office attendance.
