THE ROLE
Are you the organized, energetic orchestrator who thrives in fast-paced environments? We're looking for a talented Account Executive in Chicago -- the connective tissue between strategy, creativity, and flawless execution.
In this role, you'll be the heartbeat of our team: managing workflows, championing cross-functional collaboration, keeping everyone aligned, and ensuring our best work gets delivered on time. You'll work closely with Strategy and Creative teams to bring campaigns to life while developing the project management and strategic thinking skills that define agency leadership.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
Strategic Planning & Coordination
- Partner with cross-functional teams to build and execute campaigns, specializing in media sponsorships and events, and orchestrate internal workflows to meet client deadlines
- Balance agency perspective with client advocacy, challenging the status quo when it strengthens the work
Day-to-Day Execution
- Own team operations: plan meetings, maintain communication channels, track status, and keep everyone moving forward
- Manage resource allocation—flag capacity issues, secure the right people for key meetings, and adapt when priorities shift
- Become the master of organization: maintain our digital workspace, store deliverables, and ensure nothing falls through the cracks
Leadership & Communication
- Build trusting relationships based on credibility and respect with teammates, clients, and agency partners
- Capture and communicate clearly—from meeting notes to weekly recaps that celebrate wins and preview what's next
- Alert stakeholders to risks early, and solve problems before they become crises
- Be an active listener; anticipate needs and take initiative to meet them
Problem Solving & Resilience
- Thrive under pressure by staying calm, organized, and solution-focused
- Combine media and events with creativity to move projects from kickoff to delivery
- Bring team members together and keep morale high during intense projects
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
- 2–3 years of professional experience in marketing, advertising, or related fields
- Project management skills with an eye toward strategy (you think about the "why" and "what's next")
- Superior organizational ability and attention to detail—you catch what others miss
- Excellent communication skills: strong writing, presentation, and facilitation abilities
- Collaborative mindset: you work cross-functionally, embrace different perspectives, and never work in silos
- Resourcefulness & problem-solving: you find creative solutions and help others do the same
- Emotional intelligence: you navigate different personalities, stay calm under pressure, and bring people together
- Curiosity & initiative: you ask good questions, seek to understand, and anticipate the next step
- Comfort with data & analytics: you're curious about measurement and focused on producing measurable results
