Position Summary:
The Multimedia Designer is an exempt, professional-level position responsible for leading the visual development and execution of multimedia, motion, and digital creative content for marketing and promotional initiatives across digital and social platforms. This role requires advanced creative talent, originality, and independent judgment in conceptual design, visual storytelling, and production methods to communicate Positiv TV’s brand, mission, and values-driven messaging.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Creative Direction and Visual Strategy
- Independently conceptualize, design, and produce original multimedia and motion creative content requiring professional creative judgment.
- Exercise independent discretion in selecting visual styles, creative techniques, and production methods to meet campaign objectives and brand standards.
- Translate marketing and programming concepts into cohesive visual narratives aligned with brand strategy.
- Support and shape campaign ideation and visual direction within established strategic goals.
Multimedia and Motion Production
- Lead the creation of motion graphics, animations, and video content using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
- Determine best editing techniques, pacing, transitions, and visual treatments that enhance storytelling and audience engagement.
- Produce broadcast-quality promotional creative content, including lower thirds, motion graphics, and digital video deliverables using Adobe After Effects and Premiere Pro.
Social Media and Digital Creative Strategy
- Develop original, platform-specific visual content for social media and digital channels using professional creative judgment.
- Own and manage the social media content calendar, including uploading, and publishing creative content across platforms.
- Stay informed of evolving social media, digital design, and motion trends and incorporate relevant innovations into creative content development.
- Analyze performance data and apply creative interpretation to refine digital and social media strategy.
Brand Stewardship and Quality Oversight
- Responsible for final visual execution of Positiv TV’s visual identity by consistently applying brand standards across all creative content.
- Conduct final quality reviews of creative content to ensure professional, technical, and aesthetic integrity.
- Contribute to strengthening Positiv TV’s brand performance and audience engagement across platforms.
Collaboration and Professional Contribution
- Partner with marketing and channel leadership to provide strategic and creative recommendations.
- Communicate creative concepts and rationale clearly and incorporate feedback while maintaining brand consistency.
- Contribute strategic and creative input during Quarterly Business Review planning.
- Hubspot: respond to viewer submissions via Hubspot in a professional and timely manner.

This position is classified as Exempt under the Creative Professional Exemption of the Fair Labor Standards Act (29 C.F.R. §541.302). The role requires advanced knowledge in a creative field and consistent exercise of discretion and independent judgment in matters of artistic and professional significance. Accordingly, the position is not eligible for overtime compensation.
