Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Security Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients, employees, and visitors. This role requires a proactive individual who can effectively manage conflicts, monitor entry control, and respond to emergencies with professionalism and composure.
Responsibilities
- Patrol assigned areas to ensure safety and security.
- Monitor site and/or equipment to detect suspicious activities.
- Respond promptly to alarms, incidents, or emergencies.
- Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify potential security risks.
- Enforce facility rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Provide assistance during emergencies, including administering first aid and CPR when necessary.
- Document incidents and prepare daily reports as required.
- Collaborate with law enforcement agencies when needed.
- Participate in training sessions on conflict management and loss prevention strategies.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in security, law enforcement, military service or related fields is highly desirable
- Certification in first aid and CPR to provide emergency assistance when needed
- Knowledge of surveillance systems such as CCTV and familiarity with loss prevention techniques
- Strong conflict management skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure
- Ability to perform physical duties including standing, walking, patrolling for extended periods
- Excellent observational skills with attention to detail in monitoring activities and identifying risks
- Valid security license or certification as required by local regulations (if applicable)
