The brand marketing team is vital to Tropicana Brands Group’s success, driving brand awareness, customer engagement, and sales growth. This team's objectives are to grow market share, improve consumer loyalty, and ultimately drive profitability through knowing our target consumer's needs, trends, and behaviors. Collaborating closely with other departments, the team ensures that marketing strategies align with business objectives, influence product development, and keep us competitive in a dynamic market.

Your Next Pour: The Opportunity

We are looking to add a Manager of Shopper & Trade Marketing to support our North America Business Unit team. This role will be responsible developing and executing integrated best in class Trade Marketing campaigns (including retailer customer overlays) for the full Juice North America portfolio Tropicana is looking for a critical thinker with exceptional communication, influencing and relationship management skills who thrives in a fast-paced environment.  Additional responsibilities include:

  • Support the development of the Trade Marketing strategy across all brands, working with Sales, Marketing and other key cross functional experts to ensure alignment and approval
  • Work with cross-functional team members to ensure the optimal development, targeting, execution and evaluation of all shopper marketing activities to drive best in class planning, execution, and evaluation models for all campaigns
  • Own the development and creation of Shopper Marketing Toolkits, including the Shopper Marketing Strategy, Core Look translation, Media Framework and Brand Guardrails for activation
  • Lead end‑to‑end shopper budget planning, forecasting, phasing, and in‑year reconciliation to ensure spend aligns with customer plans and financial targets
  • Accountable for spend efficiency optimization for the brand portfolio by campaign.

The Perfect Blend: Experience

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in shopper marketing, sales and/or retail experience.
  • Demonstrated experience owning and forecasting multi‑million‑dollar shopper or trade marketing budgets across multiple customers throughout the year
  • A track record of delivering business result
  • A multi-tasker who achieves deadlines effortlessly
  • Insights-led thinker -- gets under the skin of how the shopper thinks in order to develop winning shopper campaigns for the retail environment
  • Excellent attention to detail and appreciates the importance of brand consistency throughout the consumer communication journey
  • Strong network builder and influencer skill
  • Experience working with creative agencies
  • Budget management expertise
  • A customer centric mindset and a good understanding of key marketing mix levers and interpretation of brand plan
  • Strong commercial acumen, able to work in a fast paced, matrixed environment
  • An aptitude for dealing with ambiguity and ability to bring clarity to complex situations

Foundational Ingredients: Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future
  • Must be located in the Chicago, IL surrounding area or willing to relocate for the duration of employment
  • Willingness to adapt and thrive in a blended work environment with 3-days in office, seamlessly transitioning between remote work and in-office operations

The salary range for this position is $100,000 - $125,000 annually.
