Summary:
The Property Manager oversees daily operations, budgeting, maintenance, and tenant relations for a designated property or portfolio located in Manhattan. This role reports to the Director of Property Management and requires weekend availability. Key duties include budget preparation, vendor and staff management, inspections, capital planning, and maintaining compliance with local regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage building operations and budgets
- Oversee vendor contracts and property maintenance
- Conduct routine inspections and address deficiencies
- Maintain tenant relations through monthly meetings and surveys
- Approve invoices and purchase orders
- Lead and develop on-site staff
- Coordinate with internal teams on construction and fit-out projects
- Ensure recordkeeping and regulatory compliance
- Utilize property management software for maintenance tracking
Requirements:
- 5 years of experience in property management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Knowledge of Yardi, SiteComply, and DOB NOW
- Mechanical/building systems knowledge preferred
- Must be available on weekends
Salary : $160,000 - $175,000
