Overview:

As Operations Controller, applicants would play a critical role in rebuilding and standardizing accounting operations across the business. Ideal candidates will be operationally minded and bring a strong foundation in technical accounting, process improvement, and team leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of accounting operations, including month-end close, financial reporting, and audit readiness
- Ensure compliance with U.S. GAAP and maintain strong internal controls
- Lead and develop a team of approximately 12 accounting professionals
- Partner with the Chief Accounting Officer and senior leadership to drive process improvements and operational efficiencies
- Manage and optimize ERP systems (SAP ECC, S/4HANA, SAP Business One, or similar)
- Support organizational transformation initiatives, including future offshoring of accounting functions
- Collaborate cross-functionally with finance, operations, and executive leadership
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Active CPA license in Florida (required)
- 10 years of progressive accounting experience, including proven experience managing and developing teams.
- Background in Big Four Accounting Firms/large regional public accounting firm OR manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
- Hands-on experience with ERP systems (SAP strongly preferred).
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills
- Track record of driving process improvements and operational efficiencies

Salary : $170,000 - $180,000
