Controller

We are seeking an experienced Controller to lead our day-to-day accounting operations and ensure the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting. This role oversees the monthly close process, financial statements, general ledger, fixed assets, and compliance with accounting standards. The Controller will also provide financial insights to support strategic decision-making and organizational growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all accounting operations, including the general ledger, journal entries, and month-end close
• Prepare accurate, timely financial statements and supporting schedules
• Manage fixed asset accounting, depreciation schedules, and related reporting
• Maintain and strengthen internal controls while ensuring GAAP compliance
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management processes
• Coordinate with external auditors and lead audit preparation efforts
• Enhance accounting processes, systems, and reporting tools to drive efficiency

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Controller or in a senior accounting leadership role
• Strong background in financial reporting and month-end close management
• Expertise in journal entries, fixed asset accounting, and GAAP compliance
• Strong analytical abilities and problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills and keen attention to detail
• Proficiency with accounting software and Microsoft Office tools
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• CPA or similar professional credential preferred/ not required
