Pay Rate: $50/hour
Shift/Schedule: 6A-6P (3X12 Hours)
Location: Metairie, LA

Position Requirements:
- 1 year ICU/CCU experience required
- Pre/Post Op Care of Patient
- Active RN License in State of Louisiana
- 4-6 week AM contract with possible temp to perm.
- Familiar with Electronic Health Record Systems (Cerner, Epic)
- Monitor patients emerging from anesthesia, assessing respiratory status, pain levels, surgical site condition, and vitals.
- Administer medications including pain management and post-anesthesia drugs as prescribed.
- Recognize and respond to complications such as airway obstruction, bleeding, or abnormal vital signs.
- Provide emotional support and education to patients and families during recovery.
- Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the electronic health record accurately and promptly.
- Strong IV insertion and airway management skills.
Credential Requirements:
- Active BLS Certification
- Active ACLS and PALS Certification
Current TB Skin Test, Quantiferon Results, or Chest X-Ray
Proof of Flu and COVID vaccine
