Job Description: Independent Contractor Courier Driver
IC Courier Drivers for TBA & Oil Warehouse are responsible for verifying, loading, transporting and delivering automotive parts to clients in a safe and timely manner, as well as other related operational duties.
Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Drop off automotive parts to customers while adhering to assigned routes and time schedules
- Fill out RGA forms and pick up corresponding parts from customers for return items
- Review invoices and verify parts to ensure orders are complete for delivery
- Load and unload automotive parts from vehicles
- Accept payments for delivered items
- Provide excellent service by being polite, professional, and attempt to be a part of the solution
- Handle customer feedback and forward messages to dispatch or management
- Abide by all transportation and traffic laws
- Drive safely and consider all weather conditions
- Always keep TBA’s best interest in mind
Requirements:
- Personal vehicle for use of transportation for the job
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license in good standing
- Capability of lifting 50lbs
- Have excellent communication skills
- Ability to converse with customers in a professional manner
- Ability to interface with PC/software
- Smart phone with no limitations to internet access
